The Mandela Catalogue is an analog horror series created by Alex Kister in 2021, It is comprised of 6 episodes, each a series of VHS tapes. The story is set in the alternate universe of Mandela County, the residents are being plagued by a group of hostile, seemingly supernatural organisms known as "Alternates" which utilize psychological warfare to force the victim to utilize suicide to escape their torment, just to take their place shortly afterwards.

This is an amateur "found footage" film. To me it wasn't particularly scary although it is fairly in good especially in building tension. I would certainly recommend this to anyone who is interested in suspense and horror with paranormal elements. There is a lot of hype to this series, not sure if it is completely justified, but it is a decent short film.

Very interesting for a short film. Tension and suspense are properly done even though it lacks any real substance, but overall a very interesting addition to the "found footage" genre.
